Katie enjoys working with business owners, and her outgoing personality allows her to easily build connections with them. Her attention to detail, responsive communication style and logical way of thinking combine to strengthen her bond with clients and make her a valuable part of the team.
Throughout Katie’s nearly 20-year career in public accounting, she has focused on closely held companies. She provides domestic and foreign tax compliance and planning services to those in a variety of industries, particularly professional services and manufacturing. Katie’s industry experience provides her with not only a deep understanding of the day-to-day operations of a business, but also successful strategies for growing one. With additional experience in state and local tax; nexus studies; transactions; and tax credits, such as the employee retention credit and Paycheck Protection Program, she has a well-rounded view of the client’s tax situation. Katie also serves on the firm’s team providing clients with expertise on opportunities stemming from the Inflation Reduction Act.

Katie resides in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, with her husband and their three children. She can typically be found walking her dogs, helping her daughters take care of the horses at their local horse barn or cheering on her kids during their soccer, basketball and lacrosse games.
