He services multiple family trusts and hedge funds ranging from startups to those with assets in excess of $10 billion. Brett’s current client base includes a mix of equity, fixed income, international, fund-of-funds and closed-end funds, including many newly organized fund complexes. The funds include a wide variety of investments and objectives, including complex investments and derivatives (futures and options), illiquid and hard-to-value securities, repurchase agreements, short sales, affiliated issuers, master limited partnerships (MLPs) and controlled foreign corporations (CFCs).
