Scott’s personality allows him to work well with just about anyone. His easy demeanor is coupled with a straight-forward, honest approach that assures clients he is always looking out for their best interests.
Scott has nearly 30 years of experience working in the accounting and financial services industries, almost 20 of which have focused on planning and tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals. He specializes in income and estate tax planning for individuals and has a tremendous amount of experience working with estates; family investment partnerships; private foundations and irrevocable trusts, such as IDGTs, SLATs, BDITs, GRATs, CLATs, CRATs and QPRTs. This includes both the estate planning on the front end, as well as assisting with the ongoing administration of these vehicles once they are established. Scott also has significant experience in assisting clients with their investment assets, including global asset allocation construction, investment selection and performance monitoring.
Scott lives in Hudson, Ohio, with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians, Browns, Cavs and The Ohio State Buckeyes — although his wife is from Pittsburgh and backs “the team over there.” Scott is also a muscle car enthusiast and a vintage Hot Wheels collector.
