Having grown up in a business environment, Petra’s unique perspective means she can put herself in the client’s shoes and relate to what they are going through. She prides herself on delivering excellent service – always taking the time to listen to what keeps clients up at night and communicating clearly, promptly and transparently.
Since beginning her career in 1996, Petra has focused on structuring, coordinating and leading engagements involving numerous entities and investors. She specializes in tax compliance services for real estate partnerships, private equity funds and their inbound/outbound international investors. Petra also has experience working at Big 4 firms, as well as in global, matrixed, multi-functional business environments.

Petra grew up in the foothills of the Alps in Germany and now lives in Tinley Park, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, with her partner and their two dogs and cat. A foster mom to many cats and dogs, Petra loves spending time outdoors – whether she is hiking, biking, gardening, horseback riding or supporting nature and wildlife preservation. Another one of her passions is traveling to locations “off the beaten path.” She recently took a memorable trip to Vieques, Puerto Rico, where she encountered free roaming horses, enjoyed a new moon kayak ride in the bioluminescent bay and hiked to hidden waterfalls in the rainforest.
