Norma insists on getting to know the clients she services, from staff to stakeholders, and is passionate about providing each with a thoughtful solution to their needs. Clients find Norma to be the authentic “voice of reason” they can trust, and they appreciate her experienced approach to their engagements.
Norma has deep investment industry expertise in addition to broad-based experience with the construction and service sectors. She leads engagements providing accounting, auditing, consulting, financial statement and SEC filing preparation, and performance-reporting services to business development companies (BDCs), commodity pools (including SEC registrants), hedge funds and operating entities. Throughout the engagement, Norma works closely with the assurance and tax teams, in addition to outside service providers, to prepare audit work papers, tax returns and financial statement reviews; provide oversight of audit planning and risk assessment; and conduct board reporting.
Norma lives in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. She has a variety of interests, such as biking, gardening and hiking — her favorite hikes include anything in the White Mountains, and Machu Picchu and the surrounding areas in Peru. When not on a mountain top, Norma can be found buying and selling antiques and musical instruments. Her favorite musical adventure was touring throughout Germany and France as a member of a San Antonio-based concert band.
