She enjoys working with colleagues, as well as an expansive network of external advisers that help clients achieve their goals.
Beginning her career in 2010 focusing on federal, state and local tax issues, Kristine specializes in providing residency and income allocation-based tax planning to individuals and their businesses located both in the U.S. and abroad. She has assisted more than 1,500 clients on, and in preparation of, contested audit matters before various states and the IRS. She is a recognized expert in this field, as well as the leading practitioner in various states’ 548-day rule — having helped dozens of expatriates and taxpayers with large liquidity events save collectively over $1 billion in taxes. She now covers a wide range of tax and consulting services for high-net-worth clients and/or their advisers in the hedge fund and private equity sectors, as well as business owners, C-suite executives and family offices. Throughout her career she has been a forerunner in leveraging the use of technology to both defend her clients more proficiently and reduce their costs. She’s advanced the use of historic cell site technology and GPS-based monitoring to help clients on everything from statutory residency to multi-state equity allocation.
Kristine resides in Buffalo, New York, with her husband and their two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys pursuing her passion for interior design and architecture. Kristine and her family have a travel bucket list and aim to never go to the same spot twice, so they can visit as many countries as possible.
