Julie specializes in the audits of mutual funds and private funds, and is involved in examinations performed to maintain compliance with SEC custody rules. Among other areas, her expertise includes auditing, accounting and financial reporting requirements specific to complex derivative instruments, Level 3 securities, guaranteed investment contracts, controlled foreign corporations (CFCs), funds-of-funds, private equity funds and master-feeder structures. Julie’s also worked with an array of portfolio compositions, including equity funds, blended funds, and those with significant holdings in taxable fixed income securities and municipal bonds.
