Matt is passionate about working with closely held businesses and their owners. His ability to think ahead and solve problems, coupled with his desire to learn the ins and outs of their businesses, helps him better understand the industries in which clients operate. Easygoing and genuinely interested in connecting with others, Matt also understands the importance of getting to know the people behind the business.
Since beginning his public accounting career in 2018, Matt has provided tax planning and compliance services for closely held pass-through entities in the construction, manufacturing, mining and professional services industries. He offers expertise for a range of scenarios, from the tax implications of starting a business to the sale or redemption of a partner or shareholder in a buy-out transaction.

Matt lives in Canfield, Ohio, with his wife and German shepherd. An avid golfer, when Matt’s not walking the dog, he can be found on the putting greens working on his short game. He and his wife also enjoy spending time with family, watching sports and traveling to some of their favorite spots like Naples, Florida or Denver, Colorado.
