Working primarily with individuals having complex tax situations, Sue focuses on getting to know clients on a personal level so she can advise them in a way that works best for them. Her goal is to ultimately minimize the burden of tax planning so her clients can focus on other areas of their lives.

Sue specializes in the taxation of high-net-worth individuals, investors in Passive Foreign Investment Companies and hedge fund partnerships, owners of Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs), securities and commodity traders, expatriates, nonresident aliens and taxpayers with multiple state filings. Sue also works with individual clients to ensure compliance in reporting offshore trusts, investments in foreign corporations, as well as foreign partnerships and their foreign bank and securities accounts. With national firm experience in her background, Sue also serves as a great resource for businesses in the Baltimore community and nationwide who have expats and inpats with complex U.S. tax returns.

Sue lives in the community of Anneslie in Baltimore County, Maryland, with her husband and twin sons. Her boys’ school and Boy Scout activities keep her busy outside of work. In addition to serving as a block captain for her residential community, during rare free moments Sue can be found reading, spending time with her family, and going on weekend trips with long-time friends.
