Maria has a range of assurance experience, particularly within the realms of real estate, mutual fund advisers and employee benefit plans. Specifically, her real estate industry expertise includes extensive work with Historic Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits and historic preservation easements, as well as with complicated entity structures.

Maria lives in Mayfield, Ohio. She loves to exercise — whether she is teaching workout classes on the weekends, running through the Cleveland Metroparks or taking a yoga class. Maria follows all of Cleveland's sports teams and hopes to visit every Major League Baseball stadium in the U.S. She also enjoys cooking and baking, frequently trying new recipes she sees on the Food Network from Bobby Flay.
