Griselda Alvarez, EA

Griselda prides herself on being easygoing and a great team player who always strives to deliver exceptional client service and the best quality work. Her outgoing and friendly personality allows her to build a strong team for each engagement, resulting in a great experience for clients and the colleagues.

After beginning her career in public accounting in 2006, Griselda gained 16 years of tax experience at a Big 4 accounting firm. She has focused her career on serving real estate clients, including commercial, industrial, self-storage, real estate funds and private real estate investment trusts (REITs). Griselda’s experience has enabled her to gain critical expertise in the areas of partnership allocations and partner/shareholder transactions.

Griselda lives in the Roscoe Village neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and two young children. She is fluent in Spanish and is first generation Mexican American. Griselda also loves getting together with friends and family, as well as coaching her son’s basketball and cross country teams.
