A strong sense of curiosity drives Chris in everything he does. It’s how he connects with clients and how he connects the right tax strategies to their business goals. Chris likes to understand everything from how owners got involved in their industry to their hobbies outside of work. His inquisitive nature helps him build connections while building a tax strategy that fits their business.
Chris began his public accounting career in 2011 and spent nearly 10 years at Big 4 firms. With a keen interest in the sophisticated and often overlapping tax needs of private companies and their owners, Chris has worked largely with partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations and high-net-worth individuals focused on areas such as trusts and the gift tax. His background includes clients from the real estate and construction, healthcare, manufacturing and distribution industries, among others.
Chris lives in Bay Village, Ohio, with his wife and two children. As a family, they love to see the world, having travelled to Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland to date. In addition to being a sports fan, both watching Ohio teams and playing golf and pick-up basketball, Chris loves to read. His American Literature minor in college made for a fairly unusual course load as an accounting major — taking him from modern poetry to financial forecasting on any given day!
