Adam makes it a priority to understand clients’ unique perspectives, circumstances and day-to-day operations so he can help identify efficiencies. Then he collaborates with all involved to make the engagement process run smoothly and add value wherever possible.
In addition to conducting audits, reviews and other attest work, Adam provides technical guidance on complex transactions and unique accounting areas, such as employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), stock options, deferred taxes, and restricted net assets and endowment accounting. He works largely in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate and not-for-profit industries. Adam often attends clients’ board meetings to offer insights on issues such as increasing productivity or the internal control environment.
Adam, his wife and their two daughters live in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. A native of Ohio, Adam is a big fan of the Cleveland Guardians and enjoys golf, tennis and cycling. He also plays beach volleyball and flag football, and loves taking in a good concert.
