Cohen & Company is pleased to announce Tax Partner Jared Mahar has been named Market Leader, Alternative Investments.

As market leader, Jared brings more than 15 years of experience, relationships and deep industry knowledge to the strategy and growth of the firm’s nationally recognized Alternative Investments Group. Applying an industry lens to client needs and market trends, Jared is focused on growing our alternative investments service offerings and fostering collaboration across the firm’s service lines and industry sectors, including related investment products such as private equity, real estate and cryptocurrency funds.

Additionally, Jared is actively involved in recruiting, mentoring and new client on-boarding for the firm's Tax Practice, as well as training related to alternative investment fund tax. Jared will continue working directly with clients on tax engagements and will co-lead the Alternative Investments Group with Assurance Partner Keith Stafford.
