Crain’s class of Notable Leaders in Accounting & Consulting for 2023 recognizes an evolving work culture fostered in part by the changes prompted by COVID and in part by a desire to be more representative of the community at large.

To qualify for the list, nominees must be based in Northeast Ohio, employed full time in a senior-level role, and practicing in the profession for a minimum of five years — accountants as a CPA at a public accounting firm, consultants at firms providing professional services to middle-market and large clients. They must also be active in the community and/or philanthropic activities, mentoring programs and/or diversity and inclusion initiatives in the workplace.
