2020 A&A Update

Tina Dzik and Steve Guarini will provide a general A&A update, with topics specifically focusing on best practices and accounting for transactions that have occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define operational changes related to debt forgiveness under the CARES Act/PPP loans, impairment of assets and revenue recognition
  • Illustrate necessary internal control changes due to recent operational changes
  • Outline the new effective dates of the lease standard and other standards that are currently being delayed by the FASB
