From the CEO: A Powerful Gift– September 17, 2020 by Randy Myeroff

I’ve had the great privilege of attending a presentation by John O'Leary, a remarkable individual who, at age 9, suffered third-degree burns on nearly 100% of his body. Through his trauma and recovery he found an inspiring gratitude for life.

He spoke about the power of “sponsorship” — taking a deep interest in others — as being a gift he had received many times over, and that each of us has the power to share. Sponsorship, whether through a lasting relationship or a passing moment, can help someone know something about themselves, or see possibilities that may not have been evident otherwise.

We have all been fortunate and grateful to have sponsors along the way. Let that gratitude lead to both responsibility and pride in paying it forward.
