Entrepreneur’s Story: Stark Enterprises– June 03, 2021 by Randy Myeroff

In this installment of Entrepreneur’s Story, highlighting the journey of successful private companies and their leaders, we focus on Ezra Stark and Stark Enterprises — one of Ohio’s largest and most respected real estate developers. This entrepreneur’s story highlights the importance of innovation and forward thinking.

Below is an excerpt from Ezra’s story featured in the spring 2021 issue of Taxonomics.

At 38 years old, Ezra Stark has already established himself as a leader in his field. He was named one of Cleveland’s “40 Under 40” by Crain’s Cleveland Business and one of “10 Under 40” by Chainstore Age. The eldest son of the company’s founder, Ezra had a natural entrée into the business. That he has risen so far so fast, however, is a testament to his own energy and abilities.

Upon his promotion to chief operating officer of Stark Enterprises in 2016, Ezra began to expand the size, scope and geographic reach of the company. Today, the firm controls more than nine million square feet of prime real estate from coast to coast and has a portfolio of properties valued at more than $3 billion.
