GROWTH
Founded on October 1, 1977, Cohen & Company employs approximately 175 people
with offices in Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Mentor, Westlake and Youngstown,
making it one of the the largest non-national firms based in Northeast, Ohio.
In fact, Cohen & Company measures as the ninth largest accounting firm in
Northeast Ohio when ranked by number of degreed professionals as published
in Crain's Cleveland Business 2005 Book of Lists. Due to the geographical
restrictions of the Crain's research study, our Youngstown and Canton
offices, which contain another approximately 30 degreed professionals, were excluded.
Accounting Today listed Cohen & Company as a "Firm to Watch" in their 2005
report on the Top 100 Firms and Bowman's Accounting Report, a major accounting
industry publication, often highlights Cohen & Company as one of the 100 largest
accounting firms in the United States.

Although Cohen & Company personnel have the background and expertise to
handle larger companies, even those that are publicly traded, that has
never been our marketplace.

The Firm has consistently turned down the
opportunity to audit publicly-traded companies, even though it
was a very early member of the AICPA's SEC Practice Section of the
Division for Firms and is now registered with the Public Company Accounting
Oversight Board. We concentrate our expertise and our client service
priorities on the most challenging and rewarding phase of business --
closely-held, middle market companies. We have grown by serving more
clients and helping our existing clients grow.
