Leader of the firm’s RICs, REITS and financial instruments tax team, Rob assists clients with RIC qualification and excise tax calculations, and provides other tax consulting to RICs as well. Rob works with hedge funds, fund-of-funds, private equity/venture capital funds, family office and investment advisors. He performs derivative and other fund-investment consulting, including various debt, foreign and derivative/structured product investments. Rob also has experience with master limited partnership (MLP)-related products, working with funds up to $1 billion, and international/CFC structured funds. In addition, he provides consulting on fund structuring and start-ups for public and private funds.
