Donna Jenkins, CPA Manager, A&A

Donna enjoys the opportunity to learn new things every day through her work with a variety of organizations facing complex issues. Credentials & Education

  • Certified Public Accountant (Ohio)
  • B.B.A. with a concentration in accounting, summa cum laude, Kent State University

Donna works with not-for-profit organizations as well as closely held businesses. On the not-for-profit side much of her work surrounds Form 990, including training other 990 preparers in the firm. In addition to helping clients remain compliant with the IRS by helping them complete and file Form 990, Donna also helps them understand how the publicly filed form can be a great tool to attract and retain donors. Regarding her work with closely held businesses, Donna’s expertise lies in performing reviews and compilations prepared on a GAAP, income tax or cash basis. She also serves as a resource to businesses, advising on issues ranging from how to record a transaction, such as a new loan, to how to apply new financial standards. Donna’s business clients generally fall in the manufacturing, software, real estate and service industries, including advertising, legal, medical and staffing.

Donna loves to hike and has worn out more than one pair of hiking boots. She is also a member/volunteer with organizations that give the voiceless a voice, including organizations that protect the biodiversity of Ohio’s native wildlands, preserve historic places in Ohio, protect the rights of people with disabilities and help rescue pets. Donna also has a degree in fashion merchandising, so every now and then her creative side gets loose. Pinterest is a really great place to find fun new projects, and her husband and two sons really enjoy the glittery, pink end-products.
