Steven J. Piatak, Cohen & Company

Steven J. Piatak, CPA/ABV, CFF, CFE Senior Manager Steve is a Senior Manager in our Litigation Services and Business Valuations Department where he works on a wide range of projects. He focuses a significant amount of his time to business valuation projects for situations such as partner disputes, domestic relations and succession planning. Steve has earned the Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the American Institute of CPAs, the Certified Valuation Analyst certification from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credentials from the AICPA. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Steve received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Finance from Miami University of Ohio, and is a frequent contributor to Legal Cents, Cohen & Company's newsletter for litigators. He and his wife, Marlene, reside in Brunswick Hills. Steve enjoys golfing, reading, and listening and playing music and spending time with his son, Alex.
