David Sobochan, CPA
Principal
As a Principal in our Tax Department, Dave manages tax planning projects and general business consulting for individuals and closely-held businesses, including C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, and Limited Liability Companies. Dave is well versed in state and local tax issues, credits and incentives, New Markets Tax Credits, entity planning and retirement planning.
Dave is also a member of the firm's Real Estate Group, specializing in tax planning and reporting, deal analysis, and general business consulting.
Dave, a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Ohio Society of CPAs, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club, earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Cleveland State University. He is involved in numerous charity and community organizations, including the Immaculate Conception Church and United Way. Dave serves on the Board of Directors for NAIOP, as the President of NAIOP of Ohio, and the Cleveland State University Alumni Association. Dave resides in Mentor-on-the-Lake, with his wife, Sandy and daughter, Emma. He enjoys racquetball, softball and golf.
