A Partner in the firms Accounting and Auditing Department, Pete is truly a business advisor who listens closely to his clients to address the big picture business issues at hand. He assembles a team of technical experts and leverages his extensive professional network to execute for his clients. In addition to his primary focus on advising and consulting with clients, Pete has specific expertise in mergers and acquisitions, and in providing clients with comprehensive assistance throughout the financing process. He has substantial experience with clients in the manufacturing, distribution, medical devices, franchising, printing and publishing, and professional services industries. Pete also actively represents the firm throughout the business community, including cultivating new relationships.
In conjunction with his substantial financing-related work, Pete volunteers his time on loan committees that provide alternative funding sources. He is a director and current president of the Lake County Small Business Assistance Center and SBA 504 Loan Review Committee, which reviews applications for loans from the United States Small Business Administration under the 504 Program.
Additionally, Pete is active in the Lake County Development Council (Cleveland Chapter), Beachwood Chamber of Commerce Business Resource Center, Commercial Finance Association, Ohio Venture Association (Marketing Committee), Product Innovation Loan Fund (Committee Member) and the Lake Health Foundation (Board of Trustees). He also is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Ohio Society of CPAs.
Pete received his undergraduate degree in business administration/accounting from John Carroll University. He resides in Mentor, Ohio with his two children. Pete is active in sports such as basketball, golf and bowling and is a collector of vintage muscle cars (his collection is currently at one car).
