Mike Boeckman, Cohen & Company

Mike Boeckman Partner Mike has served as Chief Financial Officer for Cohen & Company, where he played a key role in several acquisitions, in addition to his many other financial and administrative responsibilities. At Cohen & Company, Mike was instrumental in asset rationalization strategies, healthcare benefit plan assessments, bank financing & sourcing, managing the corporate governance policies and agreements, and more. Previously, Mike was Vice President at a publicly held investment fund, where he had a lead role in the successful tender offer to take the fund private prior to his departure. During the course of his career, Mike has managed corporate investments, raised capital for portfolio companies, and assisted with the sale and divestiture of various investments. He has led investment syndicates to raise capital for portfolio companies and helped position them for later sale. Mike has also served on a number of companies' Boards of Directors, and worked on both IPOs and the sale of significant middle market companies. Mike is a registered Series 7-General Securities Representative* and Series 79 - Limited Representative Investment Banking, and a former practicing Certified Public Accountant. He is a past Director and past President of the Cleveland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, and currently serves on the Bay Village City School Board for which he is the immediate past president. Mike received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from The Ohio State University.
