Marlene M. Piatak, Cohen & Company

Marlene M. Piatak, CPA Principal A Principal in the Accounting and Auditing Services Department, Marlene leads our Employee Benefit Plan Audit Department. In this role she helps clients stay compliant with DOL and ERISA regulations. Marlene also works with clients in real estate, engineering, architecture and other service related industries. She is involved in the supervision and planning of attest engagements, and actively contributes to the firm's staff training program. Marlene's detail-oriented approach has helped her clients with a number of special projects, including due diligence and forecasting. Marlene is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs, and serves as Vice President on the Board of the Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation. A graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, Marlene resides in Brunswick Hills with her husband, Steve. She enjoys traveling and rooting for the Indians and Browns.
