Robert D. MacKinlay, Cohen & Company

Robert D. MacKinlay, CPA Partner Rob is a Partner in the Accounting and Auditing Services Department. He services a variety of clients and industries including manufacturing, distribution and start-up technology companies. His responsibilities include planning and supervision of a variety of attest engagements along with general business planning for his clientele. Rob is also actively involved in the firm's technical accounting and auditing training, Employee Benefit Plan Audit Group, quality control initiatives, and has taken a lead in planning and implementing the Risk Assessment Audit Standards. Rob is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs. He also serves as a board director and finance committee member of the Domestic Violence Center. A magna cum laude graduate of Mercyhurst College, Rob spent approximately two years in the audit department of a national firm before joining Cohen & Company He and his wife, Stephanie, live with their children, Grace and Robbie, in Concord. Rob's involved with the sports community and coaches youth hockey in Cleveland. Additionally, Rob enjoys golf, basketball and reading.
