Kimberly Palmer, Cohen & Company

Kimberly Palmer, CPA Principal Kim is a Principal in the Tax Department. She specializes in like-kind exchanges, partnership transactions, exit strategies, disguised sale transactions, and UPREIT transactions. She also advises on succession planning and tax planning strategies for buy/sell transactions for her clients, many of whom are in the real estate industry. Kim is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women of Akron, the American Institute of CPAs and Ohio Society of CPAs. She graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration and received her Masters in Taxation from the University of Akron. Kim resides in Akron with her husband, Matt. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, traveling, and working on home improvement projects.
