Andy D. Finger, Cohen & Company

Andy D. Finger, CPA Partner Andy is the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Litigation Services and Business Valuations Department, focusing on damage analysis and business valuations. His reputation in this field has not only led to many consulting and court-related engagements, but has put him in demand as a speaker. In addition, Andy is a Partner in the Accounting and Auditing Department and is heavily involved with the Real Estate Services Group. He spends a substantial portion of his time on a variety of client service matters and has developed a particular expertise in all aspects of the real estate industry. Andy is a former member of the prestigious American Institute of CPAs Litigation and Dispute Resolution Services Subcommittee and the Accounting Standards Executive Committee. His expertise has resulted in his serving on a variety of technical task forces set up by the American Institute of CPAs and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). At the state level, he served as a State Director and as Chairman of the Committee on Quality Control. Andy is past Treasurer and Past Chairman of the Accounting and Auditing Standards Committee, Cleveland Chapter and was a peer review team captain in the SEC Practice Section of the AICPA Division of firms. A former member of the Board of Directors to the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE), Andy was also Chairman of the State Legislation Committee of COSE, as well as Chairman of the Management Assistance Program. A member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs, Andy is a past President of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Cleveland. He has been involved in other civic activities, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community Center of Cleveland and the Cleveland 500 Foundation. Andy is a past President of the Hebrew Free Loan Association and now serves on its Board of Trustees. Among Andy's hobbies are tennis, golf and spectator sports. Andy resides in Bainbridge with his wife, Judi. Their two sons are now on their own, so Andy and Judi are able to enjoy more time in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
